How to start up an Online Business.
5 easy steps to starting up an online business.
The startup steps are very easy, and I will lead you through them. You will be amazed once you reduce what seems like a difficult problem, down to 5 very easy steps.
Before you do anything, and I really mean this, decide if you really want to start up an online business. Do not look at the glamour you seem to see when you notice a successful business person. Look behind, and note that, that person has put in a huge effort, day and night, to get to that spot. Do you think it will be worth it? Are you prepared to spend the next two years buried under piles of work? You see, no matter how easy a new venture is made out to be, the daily labor is always very large. Unless you have the capital to instantly employ experts in the fields required, you are probably going to do everything yourself. And that is good. So off to the first step.
Pen and paper.
This is a fun step, and is essentially research. My advice is to always write everything down, hence the pen and paper. The reason for this system is very real. EMOTIONS! A huge amount of emotional enthusiasm becomes tied into this decision making process. Logical thinking flies right out of the window. Especially in the internet marketing field! You will be shown, and offered, products that will supposedly make you rich overnight. You will be show easy systems that require no work at all. Look and dream by all means, and then write down logically the steps that they show you. Think, and then think again. Do proper business plans. Ask others how they did things.
If you do this planning carefully, your foundation will be secure. If you blunder excitedly into the very first thing you see, and later find out you hate doing that every day, what then?
Homework.
When you think you have enough data to make a well thought out decision, do it. Then gather as much data, references, details, etc to completely snow under a large table. Phone people, e-mail people, ask people. Talk to the bank manager. Pick everyone's brains. You cannot do too much homework. Keep writing it down.
Planning a blueprint.
You will find that the more you dig the easier it will become to know exactly where you want to be. It is then up to you to plan how you are going to get there that is your next step. Plan, plan and then plan again. Make sure that you have written down where you want to be and how you plan to get there. Put post-it notes up around the house if it will help you, but what you really need is a clean cut blueprint on how you will do your daily tasks to get to your rainbows end.
Put it on its feet.
This bit is easy, list out a daily diary on these initial baby steps you have to do to get the ball rolling. Put in tiny details if that is your style, or just general tasks if you need less structure. If you have broken down the tasks to the nuts and bolts, then the beginning is very easy.
Push start.
Bad news, all that fun and planning is over. Now you need to implement the stuff to get started on a new business, it is the PUSH in push start that is the key word. Reality sinks in very fast here, and most people lose heart at this stage very quickly. The drudgery in the initial days, the way that even the smallest tasks seem to take too long, hurts your enthusiasm. Get yourself a mentor, the hand holding stage helps a lot. You need to keep looking at your plan to gain hope when you see that it is on track. Or phone me.
